Regional Headliners, The Tucsonics, perform at the 36th Annual Tucson Folk Festival on April 11, 2021 at the Drive-In Stage at Park Place Mall.
The Tucsonics is Tucson’s premier western swing band playing older tunes from the 30’s 40’s and 50’s from the likes of Bob Wills, Spade Cooley, Milton Brown, Gene Autry and much more. Complete with some of Tucson’s finest musicians, Alvin Blain (steel guitar), Lex Browning (guitar), Matt Mitchell (guitar), Nick Coventry (violin), Evan Dain (bass) and Fred Hayes (drums), this band is sure to deliver a night of fun!
The 36th Annual Tucson Folk Festival is a free and accessible festival celebrating Americana and Folk Music traditions and all the wonderful variations, including American bluegrass, blues, country, jazz, Celtic, zydeco, and various styles of Latin and Mexican music! This annual family-friendly festival is held in some of the most historic sections of Tucson. Presented by the Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association, Arizona Arts, and Arizona Arts Live.
