In September 2015 Hillswick Wildlife Sanctuary and the SSPCA were called out to rescue an adult grey seal entangled in a lobster line off Sandness on Shetland's west side.The fisherman Martin Garrick reported the seal, and Sean Williamson took the rescuers out on his boat. The seal kept popping up in different places and then disappearing. Terresa Jamieson of the SSPCA dived in to find the lobster line, but it was Sean's deft throw with the grappling hook that caught the line so the seal could be hauled in to be cut free, much to everyone's joy.
