Share a File in SOLIDWORKS makes it possible to export a file in the format of your choice and upload a copy to the cloud for sharing and markup capabilities from stakeholders. Ready to start using your SOLIDWORKS Cloud Services to share a file directly from inside SOLIDWORKS? These helpful instructions will take you from 3DEXPERIENCE account creation to sharing files inside SOLIDWORKS.

Major steps in the process:
- Invite additional members as needed to give them access to share files
- Allow members to share content in Platform Management and external users to view and comment
- Install the 3DEXPERIENCE Drive (3DDrive) on each user computer
- Configure tenant access to make sure the correct platform shares are visible and the local storage location is acceptable
- Install the Collaborative Designer for SOLIDWORKS app on each user computer that also runs SOLIDWORKS
- Enable the 3DEXPERIENCE add-in inside SOLIDWORKS
- Verify connection to the platform in the Task Pane
- Turn on the Lifecycle and Collaboration tab on the command manager
