I’m back with another episode of facts about kicks, in this episode I’m diving into the history of my favourite @nikesportswear Air Max, the infamous Nike Tn. Back in 1997 the legendary @sean_mcdowell_400im came up with idea sat on a beach in Florida sketching a sunset, when he saw the blue sky fade with the palm trees. When he originally brought the idea to the nike & @footlockereu they didn’t think it was possible, taking the idea to the production factories In Asia with the samples to see if the shoe could be built, which seemed impossible. Trying something different, they used three different welds to create the awesomeness, it worked. Now 23 years later the shoe is as strong as ever, released in so many different variations & colour ways since the og’s dropped back in 1998, with no sign of this shoe slowing down anytime soon. ✅💯
