How long does it take you to get out of bed in the morning?
As an ADHDer, getting up can be tough for me... and also really, really unpredictable. Sometimes I'm out of bed in twenty mins to get going on whatever I'm currently obsessing over. At others, if left to my own devices, I can linger in bed for hours even though I'm desperate to start my day.
Here's the kicker: when I can't get out of bed, it's not just my productivity that takes a hit, but my sense of worth too. ADHD paralysis can feel awful at the best of times, but even worse when it means festering in bed for the best part of the morning.
*So, finally, I have found a way to get myself out of bed in just a few minutes, and it works (almost) every time.*
If you also struggle to rise (as someone with ADHD or any other neurotype), then give this a try tomorrow morning and please let me know how you get on!!
I'm wishing you all the neurosparkly success with this that I can ✨
