(16 Jun 2014) Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff received German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Brasilia for a working dinner at the Alvorada Palace on Sunday.
Merkel has flown to Brazil to show her support for the German football team which is playing Portugal in its opening group game in Salvador on Monday.
The two world leaders wished each other's teams good luck and Merkel took the opportunity to call on the world to pay attention to Brazil's development.
