Portugal. The Man is an American rock band from Wasilla, Alaska. The group consists of John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Kyle O'Quin, and Jason Sechrist. Gourley and Carothers met and began playing music together in Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska. Since the formation of Portugal. The Man in 2005, the band has released eight studio albums and three EPs. We met John and Zach in Dortmund and talked about "Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" by Wu-Tang Clan.
