Not really plat-pack but still kinda compact. The ‘Lamino’ chair (1956) by the Swedish designer Yngve Ekström being prepared for delivery at the Swedese factory in Vaggeryd. Yngve and his brother Jerker came up with a successful method of creating an easy assembled knock-down chair using screws and a small brass fitting already in the early 50’s. The IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad asked the two brothers if he could borrow the idea, and the rest is history.
