Cyclone Dana struck the coastal state of Odisha, bringing heavy rain, gale-force winds, and flash flood warnings. The cyclone's impact stretched into the neighbouring state of West Bengal, where hundreds of thousands of residents sought refuge in relief camps. Across both states, thousands of relief centres have been established, and over 377,000 people were evacuated. In Odisha's Bhadrak district, fallen trees blocked key roads, and structural damage was reported, though there have been no major casualties.
