A couple months back we hoped to feature the 2021 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring, and we’re finally in it today. We’ve had the chance to feature the regular gas model several times now covering all the important features about the Aviator. This time around we’re focusing on the PHEV and why you may want to consider this midsize three row luxury SUV. We go over the technical changes over the regular Aviator including the shorter height, less front headroom, and subtle exterior changes.
We talk about the 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine and how the electric motor bumps power up to 494 horsepower, 630 lb-ft of torque, and the modified 10-speed automatic transmission designed specifically for hybrid vehicles.
We conduct a 0-100km speed test followed by our independent real-world fuel economy testing and how it compares to other vehicles we’ve tested in this segment. We continue our driving segment to talk about the other elements of this SUV we’ve come to like along with some areas that need improving. Our video includes gorgeous shots of the interior and exterior of the 2021 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring filmed entirely in Dolby Vision 8.4 HDR in full 4K60p resolution for the sharpest, smoothest episode we’ve produced to date.
