Shipka peak in Stara Planina mountain altitude 1326 m, located east of the Shipka Pass. By 1951 peak named St. Nicholas, and to 1977 - the peak Stoletov. The apex symbolizes the heroism and self-sacrificing efforts for the liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.
