I did this long walk in training for my Coast to Coast walk a couple of months later. It was a 'figure of 8' route over a total distance of 18 miles, but you can easily cut it shorter.

It turned out to be a beautiful and tranquil stroll with a Cyberman and an 'Eat More Chips' lorry thrown in to spice things up a bit!
