On Monday night, the 9th of September, Uganda Cranes beat Congo Brazzaville by 2 goals to zero at Namboole Stadium. The Cranes took the lead through Aziz Kayondo in the first half, that followed brilliant performances from substitutes Allan Okello who set up Jude Ssemugabi for the second strike in the second half. Head Coach Paul Put hailed his side for showing good spirit in the game.
