In Senkonanpatti Village of Theni District, mysteriously the cooked left-over white rice turned to red when observed on next day. The interior portion of the rice which are white turns to red when exposed to air. The Farmers family registered a complaint with the District Food safety Officials. The samples of raw rice, boiled rice, water and salt were taken and sent to laboratory for testing. The results awaited. This mystery rice makes confusions among the villagers and Food Safety Officials.
