Kawasaki Z Series consists of 6 models in the Indian lineup: Z250, Z650, Z900, Z900RS, Z1000, and the Z1000R. Out of these six, four do not fair well in terms of sales, while two of them, the Z650 and the Z900, have become quite popular in the country.
The range of Kawasaki Z series bikes start from the twin cylinder Z250 and go all the way up to Z1000R with a four-cylinder engine. The Z650 ABS is one of the highest selling bikes in the Z series by Kawasaki. It has a 649cc engine which produces 68 horses worth of maximum power and 65.7 Nm of peak torque. The price of the bike is Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it one of the most aptly placed bikes in the segment.
The 2nd most-selling bike in the Z series is the Z900. With a price tag of Rs 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), it has a 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of 948cc. This massive engine produces a maximum power of 125 horsepower and 98.6 Nm of peak torque. Both the bikes have a ground clearance of 130mm. The younger sibling comes with a 15-litre fuel tank and a kerb weight of 187 kg, while the elder one sports a 17-litre fuel tank with a kerb weight of 210 kg.
