The SFC /Scannow command is a power system scan and fix tool, that looks for problems at the system file level of your Operating System.

It is used from the Command Prompt, using elevated privileges, and is a useful repair tool to have in your 'Repair Tool Kit'.

This should be run once every 2-3 months to help keep your computer performance optimised.
