The work of Murakami is colorful, charming, hypnotizing, and low key educational.

He creates opportunities for exploration in hisnwork by producing entire ideas within entire ideas, simply by making complete figures with clear intentiona, independent of the encironment they are surrounded by.

The clothing, postures, textures and activites depicted in hisnpintings are all nods to the art history of his origin nation of Japan. He leaves breadcrumbs throughout his work that if followed, lead none dirextly to the very artwork that foundates his artistic perspective.

His take on Japanese Art is refreshing and deeply original, as it incorporates music, pop culture and tech, with the barious mediums that Murakami's work has been applied to. The exhibition makes great use of rhis by displacing a wall's worth of nft paintings rendered by Murakami.

Certainly worth a visit, the TM exhibition at @asianartmuseum left me inspired, impressed and hungry for more.
