Under the Federal Budget 2021-22, National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP) was launched by India’s Finance Minister, Shri Nirmala Sitharaman, with a vision to set up a medium-term roadmap to raise nearly Rs. 6 lakh crore through monetizing‘ core assets’ of the central government.
