Last weekend I saw my first two BMW M1s (unfortunately fitted with mufflers) in action on track and I can appreciate their fame of being crazy flamethrowers. The car is moved by a 3.5 liters straight 6 engine able to produce 470 bhp at 9000 rpm and 390 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.
