In Spring 2023, an NAU professor and student traveled to Botswana with one goal: document the disruption in the diamond industry that HB Antwerp, a tech company redefining how natural diamonds are sourced, crafted and sold, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology executive MBA team, who will stress test the diamond business model of HB Antwerp, are working to implement. Together, they hope to redefine the diamond industry, or at least change who benefits from it.
