Why is the CGI in the new Transformers movies not as good as in the older ones? Many people say that visually, the older films look better than the newer ones, and perhaps one of the reasons is that Michael Bay’s version on screen looks "dirtier," while the new version looks "cleaner." By "dirty," I mean that when the Transformers appear, there are many other things visible around them, like smoke, buildings, cars, or even people. Meanwhile, in Rise of the Beasts, things often look too clean. The scenes tend to focus only on the Transformers, so even the slightest mistake becomes very noticeable due to the lack of other objects or assets. Combined with the very bright weather and almost no shadows, it makes it easier for our brains to immediately recognize that what we are watching is fake.
