Tahmadon is a vast island, a significant part of which is affected by sea tides and is covered by water. For this reason, it is not possible to visit all of it. Only parts of the island that have a sandy beach are suitable for sightseeing.

Tahmadon Island is under the supervision of the Environment Organization and it is not possible to visit it without coordination and obtaining permission from this organization. The reason for this is the rich wildlife of the island and the need to protect it. In the corners of the island you can see groups of seabirds that are resting or feeding without worries. These birds are mostly migratory and are guests of this tropical region in the cold seasons of the year.

The island’s vegetation consists of small shrubs without tall trees that grow along the island and near sandy beaches. Most of the island that is in contact with the salt water of the sea is without significant vegetation.
Tahmadon Island is not far from the coast and can be reached in less than half an hour.
