Day 1 of the 2022 XVI Black Bass World Championship Kicks Off!
Day 1 of the 2022 XVI Black Bass World Championship kicks off bright and early with the singing of the American national anthem, and teams double and triple checking they have all their gear ready to go. Once the boats were off, Fred Roumbanis and James Watson were off to a quick start and hastily landed their first five in the boat! Over on Scott Martin and Scott Canterbury’s boat, the guys aren’t far behind Fred and James, and also reach their limit with time to spare and cull. As we make our way through day one, we’ll have a chance to visit with boats from several different countries to hear their perspectives about fishing this tournament, and later, we’ll head to the scales to see who’s leading at the end of day one!
