DAYTON-- Drivers expect delays during your morning commute, a new construction project begins today in Dayton.Construction begins Monday morning along South Main Street in Dayton.Take Patterson Boulevard to get around the construction.During the first phase of construction crews will be replacing water lines starting on Stewart Street continuing North. The entire project includes widening South Main Street from four lanes to five lanes. New sidewalks, a retaining wall, and lighting will also be added. Construction is expected to be finished by October 1, 2015. This project will cause some delays but as long as you follow the detour signs and take Patterson Boulevard, you should be able to get around construction without adding too much more time to your commute.
