I made a chef hat for Al from Al’s Hack Shack. The video shows you how I made it step by step. It also includes a short applique tutorial to add the name on the front. I made it adjustable in size to make sure it would fit him, but you can also leave out the Velcro and make it fit you exactly.
Stick around until the end to see me trying to find as many different ways to wear it as I could ;)

What you’ll need:
- Thick cotton fabric (1 m or 3,5 feet) for the hat
- Cotton fabric in a different color for the applique and bias tape
- Matching thread
- Fusible webbing
- Fusible interfacing
- Velcro
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
- Tailor’s chalk
- Measuring tape or ruler
