Thousands of Australians took to the streets over the weekend to protest against Indigenous deaths in custody. The New South Wales Government went to court to try and outlaw the protest in Sydney over concerns about the spread of COVID-19. A court of appeal decision handed down barely 15 minutes before the planned start of the event gave protesters the go-ahead.
