CAS 2021: Accelerating Adaptation Action
Our planet is getting warmer, with growing impact on our societies and economies. The need to adapt to new climate extremes is driving actions that connect challenges with solutions.
At the online international Climate Adaptation Summit 2021 in January, hosted by the Netherlands, global leaders launched a comprehensive Adaptation Action Agenda, with clear commitments to deliver concrete new endeavours and partnerships to make our world more resilient to the effects of climate change.
Over the course of 24 hours, a range of online events from all time zones inspired change and supported tangible solutions to the problems of a warming world, showing how we can achieve a climate-resilient future.
