A village in western Hungary which was devastated by a tide of toxic sludge has rebuilt itself as a eco-friendly settlement. Devescer was partly destroyed when a dam holding aluminum sludge collapsed and a wave of chemicals flooded homes. Today the bus station is powered by geothermal energy and the village is one of the few places in the country not reliant on Russian gas. Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from Devescer.
