This TP-Link Kit includes two components, a Powerline Adapter and matching Extender. The Kit gives you a simple and inexpensive alternative to the tedious and expensive task of rewiring your entire home by snaking Ethernet cables through walls. This Kit uses your existing AC home wiring to deliver network connectivity, saving you time, effort, and money. The Kit makes it simple and easy. Connect a router LAN port to the Powerline Adapter. The Kit even includes two Ethernet cables. Then plug the Powerline Adapter into a wall outlet. Plug the Extender into another wall outlet. Press the Pair buttons on the Powerline Adapter and Extender. The Extender now provides Internet connectivity over Wi-Fi and a hardwire connection via its Ethernet port. You can move the Extender into any room where a reliable Internet connection is needed. Project completed! This saved me the trouble of hiring an electrician to drill holes in walls and floors, and snake Ethernet cabling. Thank you TP-Link for such a useful product.
