Ingredients:
Take a pressure cooker
Toor dal 1 cup
Wash 2-3 times
3 cups water
Jeera 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Garlic crushed 4-5
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Tomato chopped 3
Curry leaves
Cover & cook 3-4 whistles
Gongura / sorrel leaves 2 cups
Wash 3-4 times / chop
Heat a pan
Oil 1/2 tsp
Add sorrel leaves
Green chilli 4-5
Salt 1/2 tsp
Add little water
Cover & cook till soft
Mash almost with soon
Open the pressure cooker lid
Add gongura in dal / mix it
Cook on low flame for 5 min
Tadka
Oil 1 tsp
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Garlic crushed 4/5
Red chilli dry 3-4
Curry leaves
Hing 1 pinch
Add tadka
Coriander leaves
Gongura pappu ready
