I decided to finally break down and try out the Sony RX100 V. Wow! So impressed what this little power house can do. The Sony a6500 isn't quite refined enough given the price point... so, this is my "tide me over" option. Best decision I've made since breaking up with Canon.
This is right out of the box. I thought the camera was fairly simple and intuitive to use. The menu's took all of 1 hour to get down. I had no heating issues in this hot, humid Vietnam weather. I do film under 3 minute clips usually, though. The battery was the only bummer...1 hour at most in 4K. Not a big deal tho because they are small, cheap and fit easily into your pocket. For me, however, it is hard to frame on such a tiny screen when your used to bigger iPhone type screens. Really loving this thing, though!
