If you have a re-programed key card chances are the emergency key in the card/fob will be blank which means you cannot manually open the car should your car battery die.

What you want to do is give your car enough power to get the central locking system working. The easiest way to do this is to connect your car via any sized jump leads/speaker wire to a working car/motorbike battery. you should now be able to lock/unlock the car via keycard/fob.
