A special election for the position of New York State Assembly District 74 has been called for April 24, 2018. The candidates are Harvey Epstein (Democrat), Bryan Cooper (Republican), Juan Pagan (Reform), and Adrienne Craig-Williams (Green). The seat was left vacant after the resignation of Brian Kavanagh (D). Brian Kavanagh resigned after winning election to District 26 of the New York State Senate. There will be no primary.
