STORYLINE:
A large mural of late Argentine football star Diego Armando Maradona has been unveiled in Buenos Aires ahead of this month's FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The painting, located on the side of a 14-storey building, shows Maradona wearing his national team's jersey with his right hand in a fist and a defiant expression on his face.
Street artist Martín Ron was behind the mural, which he says was inspired by a photograph of the then-Argentine captain that captures his expression shortly before he sang the national anthem at the 1990 World Cup final against West Germany, which Argentina lost 1-0.
Ron claims the mural is in the Argentine capital is the largest in the world.
