The free synth plugin Surge was recently updated to version 1.8 which adds lots of cool new features, some new wavetables from a special someone, new filters, enhancements to the UI, and a whole lot more!
Surge is an absolutely excellent free synth plugin that supports wavetable, FM, and virtual analog synthesis similar to other popular synths like Serum, Vital, Synthmaster, and many more but costs exactly $0
