Naghmeh Farahmand, a female Percussionist from Iran, is the daughter of famous percussion master
Mahmoud Farahmand. She has performed widely through Europe, North America and Asia with well known
musicians and masters of Iranian traditional music and has been working for more than a decade in Iranian
National TV recording numerous musical pieces.
In 2012 Naghmeh moved to Canada and was recruited to several projects exploring a variety of Arabic,
Indian and Balkan traditional music along with various Fusion and Electronic projects that provided her the
creative platform to further develop her live performance skills and passion for collaboration and powerful
music.
