It's easy to SAY that we believe. It's another thing to LIVE it. As we see in our Gospel for this 5th Sunday of Lent, Year A, Martha clearly has faith. She believes that Jesus is the resurrection. And yet, there is a part of her that holds back, a part of her that doesn't fully understand what that means. For us, today, it is a reminder that true faith means turning our lives completely over to God.
