We all like to move furniture around the house but what to do when you see dents and divots left in the carpet. This unsightly problem is normally caused by a chair leg, a table leg or a sofa resting on the carpet for a long period of time. For this simple carpet repair technique all you need is a household steamer, a tooth brush and a little patience. Place the steamer gently onto the dented carpet for approximately 10 seconds then brush the carpet until the dent has lifted. Keep brushing for longer periods if required as the carpet cools for optimum results. Leave for 15 minutes then vacuum. Hey presto your carpet dent is no more.
