Basic Q.A:
What is 'Skull Skip'?
It's where you skip the damage that comes after failing skulls during P3 Wardens
Why would you purposefully fail only to skip the damage?
It means the boss takes less damage from the skulls, and therefore you get more damage at the highest point contribution section of the raid (and therefore more points/purps an hour)
Why leave one skull instead of all?
It means if something were to happen and you fail the skip, you'd only be hit a 75 instead of your full healthbar.
The skull skip has been long-known for ToA, but this video shows the newer consistent method that doesn't rely on reactions (only good ping please Jagex).
The 1st and 2nd skulls are simple, and just require spam clicking after correctly positioning.
The 3rd set of skulls requires you run to the SAME side of the fight where you start the hitting the skulls.
The 4th set requires you to miss a skull in the middle of the arena, and therefore requires you to manually path 1 of the skulls (the outside skull doesn't work)
