The PS5 Slim, like the standard PS5, does not natively support ultrawide resolution (21:9 aspect ratio) for most games. When connected to an ultrawide monitor, the PS5 Slim will likely display the content in a 16:9 aspect ratio with black bars on the sides. While some games may offer limited support for ultrawide displays, the console's overall design and software are optimized for standard 16:9 aspect ratio screens. As of now, no official update has been announced to enable full ultrawide support on the PS5 Slim.
