Milka Singh nick named flying Sikh joined in Indian Army at Hyderabad.Army made him great sports man.He set records in the Indian national games at Cuttack in 200 &400 m in 1958.He is the First Indian to win gold in 400 m in 1958 British empire and Commonwealth games. He won gold in1958 Asian games in 200 & 400 m.He entered in 1960 Olympics Rome 400 m men finals. unfortunately he missed Bronze finished 4th.1962 Asian games he won gold in 400 & 4*400 relay.Long live his glory for India .
