Thank you everyone who donated towards our Katanga Classroom Emergency Appeal.

Our Encouraging Education project classroom in Katanga slum is a safe haven for hundreds of vulnerable children who come every day to receive free education, a hot meal, hope and love. Heavy rains in early August caused widespread flooding in Katanga and our classroom was severely damaged. Thanks to people’s kind donations, we were able to repair and rebuild the classroom, and hundreds of children can have a safe space to learn for free again.

The aim of Kids Club Kampala is to bring hope and love to vulnerable children and to transform poor communities in Uganda. Founded in 2009, Kids Club Kampala was set up to overcome the lack of hope and self-esteem of children living in situations of extreme poverty and, works to bring about sustainable changes through various development projects.
