Today, I would like to introduce kimbap to everyone. Kimbap is called Kimbap (Kimbop) or Gimbap (Gimbop) in English. A common form of kimbap is made by seasoning seaweed with sesame oil and salt with other ingredients: ham, crab meat, pickled radish, egg, carrot, spinach, and cucumber.
It is a food that was spread under the influence of Japan, and now it has been transformed into a Korean style, and it is one of the foods that everyone loves. The difference from sushi in Japan is that all the ingredients are cooked, and sesame oil is added to the rice instead of vinegar.
In Korea, gimbap is generally recognized as a food on picnic days, and it is now one of the most consumed foods for one meal. Gimbap is also one of the popular Korean street foods, and is usually served with tteokbokki and fish cake soup.
