A Circular Walk from Lynmouth, Devon, England, June 2021.
From Our Campsite above Minehead we drove across Exmore passing a herd of wild Ponies, to arrive at Lynmouth for a delightful circular walk.
This took us to Watersmeet, before climbing through old oak woodlands to arrive at Countisbury atop glorious cliffs overlooking the Bristol Channel.
From here we followed the coast path back down into Lynmouth.
The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is a water-powered funicular railway opened in 1890 and is the highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world, joining the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth.
