Indoor air pollution is a serious issue in the UK, with many homes and buildings exposed to a range of harmful pollutants. These pollutants can come from a variety of sources, including exposure to outdoor air, wood burners, cooking, cleaning products, and even furniture and building materials. The impact of indoor air pollution on health and well-being can be significant, with links to respiratory problems, allergies, and even cancer. This presentation will explore the wider context of indoor air pollution in the UK and its impact on health and well-being, including the importance of monitoring indoor air quality and of ventilation to ensure that homes and buildings are safe and healthy places to live and work.
