Obviously, a degree in actuarial science is the best! But what if that isn't an option at your school?

Your next best option would be a degree in statistics or math. You'll have a great foundation for the math on actuarial exams, as well as get good related experience!

Next would be a degree in finance, economics, or data science. These are pretty closely related to the actuarial career, but are not as focused on the math that might be on actuarial exams. Also, they'll set you up well for the day-to-day work of an actuary!

Lastly, we have any non-quantitative degree. You can get an actuarial job with ANY Bachelor's degree. That's what makes it a realistic career option for you, even AFTER you've graduated!!
