MY EXPLANATION: yes there were a lot of arguments and problems between these two in the show but they always made it up somehow. even though it is sometimes shown melissa talking trash about chloe and christi talking bad abt maddie and christi "hating" melissa - the show twists, cuts out and makes it dramatic - that was not true at all, there was no feelings of HATRED whatsoever between those families. obviously they both had a connection otherwise why would they be friends now? the show slowly broke apart their friendship and trust towards eachother. After christi and chloe left, they never talked and they left eachother on not the best note. from s5 till they met up there was still that small trust due to them being friends since maddie and chloe were so little. I feel like bc they knew eachother for so long there was NEVER "hate" - there were trust problems, which the show and producers created and I'm glad now they are friends again. 💞💞
