Examines how child welfare agencies can assess and select the best possible intervention to address identified problems and unmet needs. Choosing an appropriate solution requires critical thinking about whether an existing intervention is a “good fit” and holds promise or if something new is needed. This series of eight videos examines intervention selection by considering essential functions or tasks. Function 6 explores how to develop a proposal by clearly explaining the intervention to establish a common understanding among stakeholders, and to support communication and decision-making.
