This funerary sculpture represents a woman seated on an armchair, probably the deceased. She is dressed in a tunic or stola covered with the palla, a feminine cloak weighted with several weights at the ends. Her ears are decorated with drop-shaped pendants. Tied in a bun with a ribbon at the back of her head, her high curly hairstyle called "honeycomb" is characteristic of a fashion launched under the reign of the Flavian emperors at the end of the 1st century.
