It doesn't matter how big the event, sometimes things just don't go to plan and I imagine the organiseres of this Panopticon convention from back in 1987 were cringing inside as this panel unfolded.
Whilst you may not be too bothered about seeing guests smoking on stage anymore, hopefully we won't be seeing them bleeding for fandom again any time soon.
VIDEO TRADING - I have quite a large collection of video footage (71 edits, conventions, location, studio footage, documentaries, interviews etc) and am always happy to hear from anyone who might be interested in trading footage privately. I'm ESPECIALLY keen to hear from anyone who has a copy of the 5 Doctors studio tapes - not the bits from the DVD release but many hours worth which found its way into fan circles.
